DIFFERENTIAL

Back Brace

Ford 9" housings are very popular in drag racing because of their light weight and the ability to change gears easily. The only disadvantage is the tendency to flex under hard acceleration. As the pinion rotates, it tries to climb the ring gear, this force tends to flex and bend the housing. To combat this flex this 2 piece brace welds directly to the housing, reinforcing the centre section to the tubes and eliminates any flex.
